Default quick question

how do you get the plastic peice off on the inside of the door thats near handle because i gotta change that little red light thats in there, and dont know how to get the plastic peice off?

yea man i just noticed because i seen one on the passanger door and then see the driver door had one but didnt go on i was amazed that i never took notice lol

oh, well I guess that makes sense if you're driving a TA, cuz Pontiac probably matched the light with the rest of the interior lighting (red). If you drive a Camaro, the previous owner apparently installed aftermarket LEDs or something in there. Anyways to answer your question, I'm not entirely sure, hehehehe. I know you can "wiggle" that plate around...so I think maybe you can sorta pry the switch plate up to where it pops off and then maybe get to the light that way. Try it!

You can pop the whole assembly off....really easily.....too easy actually. Gm quality right there

First use a screwdriver or prybar to pop off the plastic lock slider. (The one with the red sticker on it that shows when the door is unlocked.) It will take a little bit of force - be careful not to scratch the plastic under the slider.

Then remove the trim screw in the well behind the pull handle. You can then wiggle the plate off. The bulb is in a socket that twist-locks in to the plate.
