Street Racing & Kill Stories - My 98 TA vs 04 Cobra vs 07 WRX

Alright so i just got the TA fired up last thursday from the h/c swap so friday i through a rough tune on the car and ran down to Colorado Springs For the weekend to do some street racing any ways i get down there and a wrx follows me out so we slow to a first gear roll 3 honks pedal to the metal wrx is loosing lengths fast so im about to slow down and i look to my right what do i see another set of fading headlights so i slow down and what do i see flyby on my right a 04 mustang cobra. Felt pretty good to pull on a cobra with bad fuel mapping!! just thought i would throw out another good LS1 kill story

i was racing the wrx and on the other side of me was a cobra that i was not intentionally racing but noticed he was running when we were doing 100mph and i pulled on him for a while then slowed to let him pass by to see what he was

i had a local performance shop do it and they still havnt got me the specs he said the heads flow better than the patriots and i know its a pretty big cam it has a real lumpy idle

Get the cam/head info asap so you can add it to your sig. Use this site to learn as much as possible too. Again nice kill.

just came back across this thread lol the specs on my cam are Intake: average duration 279, duration at .050 230 balve lift .591 Exhaust: Average Duration 297 duration at .050 244 valve lift .596 and lobe seperation 116.0

Good kills. That willthethrill guy got burned up there. It's not your fault that the cobra thought it would be funny to pass you while you were racing, and he obviously learned not to do that anymore.
