Default What is this cable?

Hello everyone. I have an 02 camaro with an automatic in it and my friend has a 02 trans am with an automatic in it. I have one cable going to my throttle body but he has two, what is the 2nd one going to his?

both have cruise control
both have automatics
both have ls1
both 2002

Sorry for the silly question was just wondering what it was.

Hmm, I think my 99 A4 has two cables one of which is the throttle, and the other one is for cruise. So don't really have an answer for you, but mine also has 2 cables.

traction control? does one of you have the little cylinder type thing in the front passenger side of the engine bay with cables going to it?

The throttle cable on f-bodies with traction control goes to the TCS module and then to the throttle body. The cruise control cable goes directly to the traction control module on the passenger-side fender well.

The cruise control cable and throttle cable both go directly to the throttle body on f-bodies without traction control.

Yeah I didn't think of that, mine does have TC and his doesn't.
