Default Rebuilding up My Engine

Ok so i found out it was a spun bearing that was wrong with my engine so im deciding to get it bored out, patriot cam and head package and forged pistons, and maybe a new crank since it will be out and my friend (who blew the motor ) is going to pay half of it. But i dont know how much to get it bored its an Ls1 with 66K miles on it and its my daily. So what do you guys think i should go with and i have 5,000 dollars to spend on it(2,500 for me and 2,500 from my friend), can i do it with that money or will it be more

Are you doing the work yourself? I think $5k for heads and cam would be close. A shortblock alone can cost you $4k.
