Default American racing rebels

Ive been searching and read that the 17x9 rebels have problems with rubbing. I really want these wheels but I dont want the rubbing? does anyone have any info?

From what I've read, only the 17x9 rub in the front if you have a 275 size tire up there. I bought 4 17x9 black rebels and got the fronts with 245 tires on them and there is no rubbing at all. I'll be posting pictures later tonight since I just got the wheels last night.

I got 275 on my stock 17x9 wheels. what makes them so different that they rub?

Well, I mounted mine up and with the wheel turned as far as it will go, I get a tiny amount of rub on the front w/ 245's.

well I just didnt want it to be a promblem I really like these wheels and want them so ill just get the 245's and go down the road.

so the 245's are made to go on a 17x8 wheel? What about a 255? would that work or do you think that would cause rubbing?
