Cool Ordered some new wheels- (don't think I've ever seen these on another f-body)

I decided a few months ago that the CCW 505A's were just too much effort to keep polished for daily driving purposes. I love the look of them, but the upkeep is insane! So I set out to get a set of daily drivers that would still stand out but not be as hard to keep clean. I came across the HP evo wheels and really liked them in black. I found a used set for sale here and bought them. Well, the seller did not uphold his end of the bargain and I had to fight for almost 3 months to get my money back! I finally got my refund back from the guy and continued on with my search. As many of you know the HP evo's have been on backorder for quite some time now. I did find a similar wheel though which I think looks even better. Found a place with awesome pricing, and placed my order today. The wheels are GT1's, and they are made by MRR. Here is a pic of the wheels:

I got my set in 18x8.5 with 245/40 and 18x9.5 with 285/35. I wish they made them wider, I'd really love to have at least some 315's, but the 285's will just have to do for now. They should look good tho- I'll post pics once I get them mounted up

Congrats man. It's gonna look sick to go along with your sick HP too. Too bad you had to go thru all that drama to get your money back.

Yes, they make this style all the way up to 22"! I paid $1630 shipped for the wheels & tires mounted and balanced and they also included a mounting kit with lugs and locks.

he has had them about 4-5 months, i told him not to drive them in the winter but he had to be big baller. they were painted. i think the sand and salt on the roads contributed to their early demise.

What brand tires did you get with the combo? Are you selling your CCW's?
