Default How much work to change 3-4 fork and blocker rings?

How much work to change 3-4 fork and blocker rings, synchros, fork pads and whatever else needs to be upgraded to keep it from popping out of third.
Mainly wondering what special tools are needed and how many bearings need to be pulled.
I've rebuilt a few T5's and T45's without much trouble. Is a T56 much more difficult?

IMO alot more to a t56 than a t5, but if you were confident enough to do a t5 im sure you can get-r-done

You can tackle it. Follow the manual and you will be fine.

Thanks, it's only got 39,000 miles on it but it pops out of third if I forget to shove it in. I just want it to be reliable. It shifts great when driving it hard.

Me and a buddy rebuilt mine this past weekend and it was not too bad. We did not have the proper puller to get stuff apart but made a defferent one work.

Basically its pretty strait forward and you just have to pay attention to what your doing. Take pictures if it will help you, and have a large CLEAN area to lay parts out on.

Oh yea, get the service manual, it helps alot.
