i would say 7000 would be a good deal on it. a huge disadvantage with the 2.73's and the pre 00 interior and the pre 01 ls1 intake. If your a camaro lover it really doesn't matter what you pay for it as long as you like it. I paid 2K more for my car than it was worth but thats because its what i wanted and i was happy to pay every penny that he asked for it.

It's more what you feel. We can give you advice but if you aren't sold on it I wouldn't buy it. If you settle for it chances are you'll never really enjoy the car, yes maybe intially but it will wear on your and you'll regret trust me I know. If you aren't 110% into this car keep looking you'll find the right car and you'll know when it happens. Good luck!

To be honest bro, if shes got problems, chances are you don't want none of that.
I had a WS6 for a while that I impulse bought, they said it had a "noise" coming from the drivers side headlight motor. They didn't mention a few other things
Like.... the fact that it was TOTALLY unclean! The "noise" sounded like DEATH ITSELF when the headlight went down, it had 6 scratches, 2 dings, the front bumper had been drove straight into the ground on a dip, two blown subs, weak clear coat on the hood, dimples on rear bumper from lack of SFCs, dirty *** engine compartment that had not ever seen the light of day and slightly curb rashed alloy wheels. When I popped the trunk there were LEAVES in the hatch and it was dirt encrusted.
First moral of the story? Think before you sign the check.
Second moral? Always have somebody inspect that **** if buying off of EBay.
I'd hold out for a cleaner one in better condition, you'll be happier w/ yourself and your buy.

my only problem is that ls1's go high price around here and are all a4's. when an m6 comes around its a p.o.s. or $10-$15k. ex. car lot 10mins away selling a '98 t/a a4 for $10,900 75kmi. its rediculous. the car im looking at has been taken care of and maintained. eng. light on cuz of cat and security light on cuz owner dropped the keys didnt noticed the dirt on it and stuck it in ingnition but no problems from that, its not a shitty rag im inpulsing on. im buying it from a friend so i know the car well and its never missed a lick.

Check Engine light is different from SES light from the cat. If it had a Check Engine light rather than a Service Engine Soon light then you should worry, but SES light are emissions and can easily be fixed. The security light is also an easy fix.
If you really want to, down the road you can do a T56 swap.
Peace,
Craig.

yeah I'd say $7k max. Mine was stock, needed work (Water pump, axle and bearing, brakes, one cat bad (caused SES light), MAF bad, hood peeling paint) had 103k and I picked it up for $5500
