Default HELP!!! How do you remove the....

How do you remove the rear offset shift lever roll pin and the rear offset lever and isolator cup. I pulled the t-56 out of my 02 ss and removed the shifter bolts and the shifter. The directions i got off of all-data say #8. Remove rear offset shift lever roll pin. #9 Remove rear offset shift lever and isolater cup. But i have no idea how to get it off!!! Any Ideas!!!

it might be a little stuck, give it a little tap towards the end of the shaft with a brass drift.

I have tried tapping it, i just tried again, and nothing, it is on there pretty good, it doesent even wiggle at all. i am sitting here just looking at the thing puzzled. when they say remove the rear offset shift lever roll pin, is there actually a pin? there is something there that looks like a pin, but how do you get that out?

Oh you dont have the roll pin out?

In that case you need to use a roll pin punch and a hammer and punch it through.
