Default LS1 swap: hiccups

Putting an 01 F-body LS1 with A4 into my 97 LT1 car.
I have everything in there but realize the transmission mount is about 1" too far back. Can not figure out why, I am using the LT1 A4 Xmember.

Also, I am using the LT1 radiator, the rad hoses from LT1 are not long enough, what hoses are to be used? LS1s or parts store universals? and what size hose do you use for the crossover tube coming out the front to the top of the radiator?

Once I get this figured out and the wiring done it will be time to fire it up.

Hey Shon, I don't have the answers for ya, but here's a free "bump" so that someone who does have the info can see it & answer...

(& thanks again for doing the GP on the TA Perf. differential covers!)

This will probably be what we do, b/c I jsut do not see how we can move it an inch....I will have my brother weld in an extension either where the trans mount bolt is to go or plates where it attaches to the body, probably where the trans mount is.....simplest.

That's wierd because when I did my swap I used the 94 M6 crossmember with the LS1/M6 combo and it bolted up no problem.

You use LS1 rad hoses.

Bro came over and we worked on the wiring. My HPTuners was to be delivered today but was delayed so hopefully tomorrow I can delete VATS and hear it breathe....it turns over, that's good. but it is not getting any fuel to the rails and I am not hearing the fuel pump prime, hoping it is VATS....
