I have heard they are coming out with this kit in about 2-6 months and it will be a model specific kit for 99+ GM trucks.
I couldn't wait, so I went ahead and got the 5176 kit for my 5.3 as NOS Tech recommended. Anyone tried this install before.
Most importantly, they said it would only work if my truck had a vacuum pressure regulator on it. Do any of you know all the 99+ trucks have this? The tech guy said the ones they have installed so far have had them.
I plan on installing it this week, wife permitting...lol.

is the kit you got wet or dry? most of the truck guys i know that have nitrous(myself included) run the nitrous express GM EFI wet kit...it's very simple to install and very safe. got any more details on that truck specific kit?

I think the number was 51530 or something like that. I wrote it down at home. I'll confirm later. He said it will be a dry kit, as is the 5176 I'm gonna install later this week. they are both 150 shots, and I believe they both come with a high efficiency inline fuel pump to give the extra needed fuel. I've noticed NOS doesn't have the friendliest tech dept., or maybe they thought I was just asking too many questions about the new kit coming out...oh well.
I'll give you the part # so you can be on the look-out for it in the next 3-4 months.
