Default New clutch and more and now issues

OK so here is a run down of everything that has been done: LS7 clutch package, new hydraulics (master and slave cylinders), new pilot bearing, rebuilt t56 trans. Now it seems to be making a whining noise in neutral when clutch is engaged, if I press pedal and disengage it goes away and it's not there when I'm in in gear. This only started to happen after I put about 20 miles of very gentle city driving on it. Could it be the throwout bearing on the new slave I got is defective or maybe some air in the system or something? I don't think I need a shim with setup do I?

EDIT: Did a search some say normal at first, others said no it's the TO bearing, so what do yall think???

I damaged a pilot bearing once during an install and it did what yours is doing. That's my bet.

The weird thing is that I didn't replace the master at first and it was making this noise. I figured it should probably be replaced anyway so I did and it went away. I drove it around one day about 20 miles and no noise then the next day it started doing it again after a short trip up to Lowe's.

i could be your throw out bearing i had that prob and thats what it was replaced my clutch and it stopped just be sure its not coming from your power steering pump simple way to check that is take the cap off of it and if the whine gets louder then it could be that but more then likely cause u said it stops when u push the clutch in then its prob that. also rev the car up while the clutch is in and out see if u get rough feedback or if u hear it whine more

what I don't understand is why would it go away when I first put the new master in?
is it safe to drive it like this until next weekend?

Continue with the break in period and it should go away, my Centerforce was very noisy for the first 300 or so miles of city driving.
