New LS1 Owners - Newbie Tech - iaf sensor and grommet

what is the easiest way to remove iaf sensor from old lid? and put on new lid? its killing me trying to take it out i dont want to break it, any ideas?????

when i did my swap i had to use a hack saw to get that bastard out. but once i had it out i think that it will just pull out. the sensor should be able to pull out from the grommet then you can get the grommet out easy. its a bitch though.

man i ended up breaking the son of a bitch but i went to auto zone and bought a new one, i reused the grommet tho. thanks tho..................asa
