nay one know if there is a how to on removing axles?

Default nay one know if there is a how to on removing axles?

I am trying to pull my axles. i know they have c clips but not sure on how to get to the c clips to pull them out. I need to know what to remove to get to them.

haynes manuals describe it pretty well. But take out the little bolt on the side of the carrier (may have to rotate it to find it) should be a 5/16" I believe. then that silver pin it was holding will slide out in either direction, give it gentle love taps to get it thru. push the axles in, pull the clips out with a magnet, slide the axles out.

Sometimes you have to push the axles in a little bit to fully expose the C-clips, make sure if you have abs/traction control you remove the sensors, because if you dont you wont be able to push them in.

Not to be a doom-sayer, but since we pulled the axles on mine, I have horrible brake pad knockback from the rear calipers..
