If you are asking which is better between the factory Camaro SS ram air system and the standard cold air system, then the cold air system is better as the air isn't "pre-heated" over the intake first (even if you are using the spray).
Now, if you are asking which is better between the traditional firebird ram air, or the ram air that works with the Ultra-Z hoods that goes straight into the MAF and straight into the TB vs the standard cold air system, then the ram air system or Ultra-Z hood ram air system is the better more power potential making system with, or without nitrous.

Ram air works well on carbed engines for obvious reasons, but for modern injected cars that do not have an air cleaner sitting right on top of the engine like the old carbed ones, a CAI is just a much better design. Ram Air is in the top of the engine bay (the hottest part), plus the LT1 ram air systems have very sharp bends in them. A cold air system sits down toward the bottom and has very smooth bends. You do the math.

Thank yall for the input, i do appreciate it. I was think ram cuz 93s dont have mafs so with a ram air hood i might be able to just make a fitment to go straight in but that was cut out due to it being a dd now so i think i am going cai.
