Default Pics of my new APS K Member!!!

Ok guys, Here’s some pics of my PA Racing K member that I had made for me last week for my APS TT kit that I just bought! And pics of my BMR#003 that I sent back some weeks ago!!! I paid $275 for the PA Racing K member as compared to the est.$500 for the recommended BMR Part# 003. I bought & returned the BMR because, first! , They sent me the wrong color. Secondly didn’t like how many pieces & welds it took to make the BMR. Third, the high price was crazy! LOL!!If you compare the two? You’ll see how PA racing uses a one piece tube that makes the whole front of their K member, where BMR, It takes 3 welded pieces. I opted for the PA Racing over the BMR because the PA uses half as many pieces to do the job, in turn, equals to half as many welds, which equate into a half as expensive a piece, that’s stronger in my book because of the one piece front design and half as many welds as the BMR. If you look at PA racings K member verses the BMR? BMR uses tubes that are to be connected to the frame, via bolts. Where PA uses a hydro type formed 1/8 plate, that’s formed to the contour of the F body frame bottoms! So once bolted to the frame, this plate now becomes part of the frame, instead of being a piece of tube bolted to the frame. This is just my opinion guys. I am sending pics of both of these K members for you guys. The Black K member is the BMR! The Red K member is from PA Racing! The BMR cost $500!!!The PA Racing cost $275! You guys be your own judges on which you like better

i ended up going with the turbo K from BMR becuase the curved parts that go around the alt and compressor on the PA werent enough curved for what i was wanting to do, i also sent a PM asking if it could be made more curved but was told that was as far as it would go. owell i already have my BMR bolted to the car just need to finish one more motor mount and then i can start attaching the A-arms

I hope it fits. The way it curves up on either side will make for a very tight fit on the turbo tube going to the intercooler .

I have a chromoly PA KM and it is the a NICE piece. It is a feather, lol. My kit was built around it. That'd suck if your APS kit took more than a quick tweek to fit.

I'm guessing that $275 is for a mild steel one? I'm going to have to check these out. I need something cheap for my 93 that'll let me fit a 4 inch DP over the k member.
