Default need help driver window is having issues

need to know if I have to buy a window motor for my 02 z28 the window will barely move and only moves down a few centimeters and then you have to wait a few seconds before you hit the boutton to get it back up. why is this? some people say motor some say switch some say maybe another new issue just want to know what you think the car only has 33,000 miles on it and barely has seen rain. please help and give some ideas and suggestions thanks

Yeah, sounds like you need a motor for the window alright! My SS needed a motor two years ago and the car only had about 25k miles. The motors are garbage to begin with. Some guys say the switch can be bad but I haven't seen one yet that the problem is a switch and not the motor. Go to Autozone and buy a motor, they are warrantied for life, make sure you keep the receipt. I think I paid about $65-$70 for my motor. I used the install directions online because you have to drill the rivets out to remove the OEM unit but in order to get to the rivets you have to drill through the inner door shell; sounds worse then it really is. Do a search and you'll find the directions.

Yep, looks like my CETA is giving me the exact same bullshit and I as well just clocked in at 40,000 miles. AutoZone here I come.
