So i blew the motor in my 95 formula and i found a pretty sweet deal on a lt1 The only thing is its a out of a 94 car, is there anything i have too change too put in my car? Ive heard timing gears and the opti might have too be changed?

Sorry I should have clarified.. The motor was replaced after the previous owners before the previous owner blew up the original motor.

I could be wrong, but I think the 95 up have the double roller timing chain and the vented opti spark 2. It is a much better set up if that is indeed true.

I dunno about the timing chain so that may or may not be true, but 95+ for sure has a vented opti while 93 and 94 don't. You can easily convert a 93 or 94 engine to a vented setup though.
