What would the average power gains be on a bolt on car?

The best thing I can say is (part of the reason I use them) The livernois heads use a 243 casting, and stock ls2 valve. So 99.9% of the time if the stock 243 clears, the livernois one will clear as well...

Thank you for verifying that Brian! You are correct, the MI Residents only applies to sales tax.

What would the average power gains be on a bolt on car?

Typically we see about 100 RWHP gain from Stage 2 Heads, our Stage 2 Cam, Kooks Longtube Headers & X-Pipe w/ Cats, and CAI.

Please see the graph below from a 2005 C6 6-Speed

Andy is also correct. Typically if the stock 243 clears, ours will as well, but we always recommend checking PTV clearance.

What are the specs on the trak cam? I cant think of any vehicles that we've done here with stage 2 heads and stage 2R cam, but I think it would make slightly more power than the stage 2 / stage 2.

Good heads. I think I paid $1200 for mine, so this is a really good deal.

As far as hp gains, I did Livernois Stage 2's, TR 224/224, LT's, and cai at the same time and picked up 102 hp on an LS1.

Brads01WS6,

The stage 2 cam has excellent drivability. Please view the following link for a video clip of this camshaft at start-up and idle.

If you buy the C5 Performance Package, I will work on pricing for you.

Are the valves stock GM? Are the exhaust valves sodium filled? What are the spring pressures?

Thanks,

George

Thanks,

The valves are factory GM non-sodium filled and springs specs are as follows:

Specifications:

Install Height: 1.820
Max. Valve Spring Lift: .680
Spring Pressure Closed: 150lbs
Spring Pressure Open: 382@.620 / 410@.680
Coil Bind: 1.100
Retainer Material: Titanium

does the stage 2r cam clear with the stage 2 heads?

We've had vehicles where it did clear and have had some that didn't. It's close, but we always recommend checking PTV clearance.

Thank you

I'll step up to tell you: in my area, we love the Livernois heads with the G5X3 and G5X2 cams. Heck, I'm using my stage 2 Livernois 243s on my 408 and went 10.4 this past weekend with NO weight reduction.

Thanks for answering, it's always nice to have customers chime in, but I also think these heads work great with that cam.

Ported stock castings rarely provide what you're asking for. That said, I've seen a lot of cars with these heads and LS6 intake going 420/400 or better.
