I officially have bought a new exhaust since I have decided to go the split exit route and did not want to have to sell my Kooks and buy 05 Kooks. It just seemed like way too much work, so I ordered the Borla Split for the 04 from thunderracing for 760 (retail 960). They have 1 left in stock by the way for this price. The only thing that gave me reservations about the switch is how much I loved the sound of the Corsa and I have not heard the Borla on a HEAD, MD CAM, HEADER car.

I hope I made a good choice.

I am just a slight bit worried that the 2.25 or 2.5" pipe will not be enough. I am hoping it is not too restrictive coming from the 3" corsa. If it is only 5-10 hp then it is no big deal as I have some to spare

The Split exhaust Mod just bit me too hard. I had to have the dual exit. I just could not afford to sell my 04Kooks and mids and buy 05/06 and install. On a side not my wife is pretty happy about it. She thought my car was obnoxiously loud, I loved it being that way Now it has more of an exotic super car sound, I guess that is ok since I can spank most of them

The Corsa to me is old school muscle loud (love it) the Borla is more like a porche, lambo etc. just a different type of pitch.
