Default LS7 in 57 Belair

Looking for info ,installing LS7 in57 belair.Right now we have a LS1 in the car.I was offered a great deal on a LS7.I would like to know what is compatible.eg.wiring harness ,computor,I have a March front drive setup on the LS1,will that bolt up to the LS7.What else do I need to know
Any help would be great. Pat

bolt by bolt they are the same. the ls7 has a 58(?) tooth reluctor and the ls1 is a 24(?) tooth reluctor. makes the electronics different.

Like Gary noted, you will need a different ECM and harness. You will also need different headers, and if you plan on keeping it a dry sump, you will have to find a location to mount an 8qt tank.

I was told the headers would work off my ls1.Is there an aftermarket tank,plus is there an oil cooler required for the sump system.GM offers and ECM and harness now ,are they programable
