HD-2 kit from transgo is the most popular and the only one we use here at FLT.

is this product easy enough to enstall with a lift and simply mechanical skills.. or does it require a shop? and would you recommend installing a the stall at the same time... save time...?

I guess it would depend on ones mechanical abilities. I will say with a lift anything is easier. In some cases a qualified shop is better for some individuals but that would depend on your abilities. If you are going to install a converter then that is the time to install the kit and or have the unit freshened up.
