Monitoring bump stop mod with Atap?
What Atap parameter should you monitor when you're performing the bump stop mod?
The only paramater that I noticed is the TPS and that is always at 100% when I'm at WOT, even though the TB blade is not at 90 degrees.
Thanks,
Jim

Re: Monitoring bump stop mod with Atap?
Where do I get a digital multimeter and how do I use it for this application (i.e., where/how do I hook it up to monitor the voltage)?
Thanks,
Jim

You can get an el cheapo from radio shack for around $10. There is 3 wires from the TPS sensor (1 is ground, 1 is 5V, and 1 is the variable wire). You need to find the variable wire and the ground. Touch the leads to each one and have some one hold the throttle body open. try to get as close to 4.7V without hitting 4.7
