Fun racing weekend, Final round at Moroso Chevy event and ran w/NHRA test at Orlando On Sunday I drove my GTO down to Moroso in West Palm for the Chevy show and ran Sportsman. I was terrible on the tree all day but somehow through opponent redlights and breakouts I made it to the final round (its been 2 years since I've been to one). Runner up but I was pretty happy, alot of people were diggin the GTO winning rounds.
On Monday there was a $100 track rental at OSW and alot of the cars from this weekends NRHA FL Nationals stayed to test for Gainsville, the track was very sticky. There was some very nice Top Sportsman cars and lots of dragsters running, fun to just be there and watch. I ran my red Formula and had some nice wheels up launches all day and had my best 2 runs back to back 9.85 w/ 1.32 60' in my 3700lb streetcar and I was good on the tree all day. Also a guy named John with Drag Racing Action magazine liked my Formula and did a 30 pic photo shoot of the car for an article his mag.
