Need some input on what kind of times I should run with this setup.
I have a buddy who's probably buying a Mercedes AMG E55 and he's talking smack already about wanting to race my Camaro. I am still building the car so I have yet to run it, but I'm thinking I should be able to take him. His car is supposed to run mid-12's based on the test data I've been able to find. What times should I be able to run with the following setup?
The car is a 1994 B4C M6 hardtop that will weigh around 3100-3150 by the time I am done with it. The engine is a 383 LT1 stroker with a forged bottom end, a large cam (around .570 lift IIRC), ported heads and intake with 2.02/1.60 valves, edelbrock headers and Y-pipe with no cat, and borla exhaust and a QTP cutout. The engine also has a CAI, Granatelli MAF, 1LE intake elbow and a BBK 58mm throttle body, along with larger injectors. I was told the engine should make at least 425 hp, and was built to make a lot of torque.
The trans is a stock T-56 with a spec 3 clutch, LS-1 driveshaft, and a 10-bolt rear with a T2 differential and 3.42 gears. The suspension is set up more for road racing than drag racing but I have Koni adjustable shocks and a spring rate of only 150-180 in the rear so if I soften the rear shocks up a bit I should get pretty good weight transfer.
I would be running on a set of 275/40ZR17 drag radials my brother has for his TA. The car has no nitrous.
Assuming the car is well driven what kind of times should I be running, low 12's or is it possible based on the limited information above I could get into the 11's? Thanks!

Yeah, I think so. I took the car that the motor is in right now for a short spin and it has a lot of torque! I may have to borrow my brother's drag radials from his TA to see what it will do.
