Quench and Compression Suggestions.
well i'm 98% sure what i'm going to do but i'm curious on what EVERYONES technical and real opinion is. so heres the deal currently my set up is.
bore: 3.903
stroke:4
rods: 6.125
deck height: -.01 (in the hole)
piston dish: - 6CC
.gasket: .040
CC: 60.99
this currently puts me at a
11.21:1 SCR
8.73:1 DCR
with this cam
.006
intake: 291.9
exhaust: 307.9
LSA: 106.3
ICL: 102.34
.050
inatke:240
exhaust:254
LSA: 106.3
ICL: 102.34
I'm not happy with the compression but everyone except myself is telling me **** it put it together. all you experts out there whats your opinion?

well i plan on running e-85 since it's 105 octane and way ******* cheaper than the shitty 91 we have. from what i understand you can run higher compression with it. as for when i light the candle i plan on using 100 octane then tuning it for the ethanol. i wanted around 12:1 but i'm about a point shy. my biggest deal was the quench really. but the mahle pistons are shaped weird so theres even a dish in the quench area. not sure if all pistons are shaped like that for the ls motors but it just has me 2nd guessing
