Default Install Questions? qa1 Shocks and Springs

I want to install QA1 shocks and springs how hard is that for someone that has never done anything with a suspension before. I read the write up on ls1 howto.com but that does not tell me how long it takes and how difficult it is.
Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

I did the whole suspension on my Firebird, and it took about a day with 2 guys. The rear is cake, no problem even for the beginners. The fronts are pretty easy as well. Its been about 4 years since i did mine, but its really only 5 bolts on each side. 3 top, and 2 bottom. On the drivers side you will have to move the brake lines, or take of the master cylinder(which is 2 bolts, and it comes right off) to get that one bolt closest to the motor. Just make sure once you get done you get a alignment done. DO NOT let difficulty hold you back from doing the suspension, it is well worth the money, and in my opinion is one of the best do it yourself mods that can be done in your driveway. Good luck brother.

rusted bolts are going to be your biggest prob. you will need a set of strut spring compresors for sure! fronts will take the longest, if you haven't done any suspention work before it'll take you a little while, maybe 4-5 hours. make sure you upgrade your hardware. have fun

If your in california, and don't mind driving to Madera (near fresno). I'll help you, no problem at all. I've probably changed my springs 7 times by now...lol
