Default converter for boost

i'm looking for a converter for my turbo setup, i have a art carr 3200 but i think its blowing through the converter. i have 4.10 gears and a turbo 350 trans so my mph is limited but when i'm at 75% throttle my mph is around 90 to 100 mph when it hits the rev limiter in drive, and when i'm at 50% throttle my mph is around 105 to 115 when it hits rev in drive, so basically when boost comes in i'm hitting the rev limiter really fast. I'm thinking about sending this one back and having them tighten it up, what does everybody think?

How much boost are we talking about and how much H/P are you making?

3,200 can be awful loose for that gear with a 3 speed.

What tire is on it?

10 to 20 but right now its reading 16-18 boost, 800 to 1000hp, and when we were tuning it i had street tires on it, and they are 245/60-15's

Thanks for the additional info...

I would recommend a stall speed in the 2,600 - 2,800 range. It may even need to be adjusted once you run it again. It is not uncommom to see that in forced induction apps.

Good Luck... if you would like to discuss the converter in detail give me a call.

Ok, that's as good a place to start as any... stay in touch.

Do you know what the roll out on the slicks is as compared to the tires on the car now?
