Default Best D/R for track?

What's up guys! I'm needing some Drag Radials for the track this year. How about some suggestions on some that will help my ride hook up!

I dont know WHY everyone thinks BFG's suck...they were the first to make a drag radial, cars have been 7.80's on a 325/50(Dwayne Gutridge) I had a set in the beginning and ran a 1.58 60 foot on them and they were 3 years old.

You can get BFG's through Sams Club.

If you don't have a converter just get some nitto's.

I've had the best luck with M/T ET Street Radials.
ET Streets worked well too, but the Radials seemed to hook better.

I had Nitto 555Rs on my old car ... they sucked ***

I love the Nittos for the street, but they have trouble hooking up well with a stick car and decent power at the track. I'll be ordering some MT radials for my LS1 soon. I didn't know about the back order. Anyone know how long the wait is suppose to be?

M/T ET Streets are IMO the best. I bought some on here mounted on some clean salad shooters and probaly 80-85% tread for only $180

No one knows, they have backed up the date 3 times that I know of, Looks like some BFG's for me.

Everyone seems to really like M/T's from what I have seen on both the strip and the street.

^Yeah, they cut some insane 60' times with them. The only complaint I've heard is that they don't last very long street driving. But then, no one really buys them to last long.

Do you have any suspension work done? That'll help you hook up even more. I'm at about 550 rwhp with my current pulley and I have trouble breaking my 315 BFG's loose when launching. It just sticks.

The place im ordering my M/T's from talked to Mickey Thompson and he said hearsay is in April they will sell them. Aparently the Government is mandating the tires or something. I've been waiting since october for the 315/35/17's
