Default Air sensor?
I recently installed my new volant and my grandfather was helping me and he smashed one side of the air sensor end while taking it off of the other lid.
The plastic around the little bulb looking thing was broken but I went ahead and installed it to see if it would work.
I started up the car and it was fine but then it started to sound like it was going to die or was getting starved of air.

sounds liek you need to replace it.

if it's not properly reading the conditions it can;t tell the computer what to do.

That's your IAT sensor. I'd get a new one from the sounds of it.
