Cutting the rear springs?

Default Cutting the rear springs?

Is it possible to cut the rear stocker down 1/2 coils for lowering, I know we used to do it on the ol'skool cars but this is all new to me, looking for about 1-1.2 drop, any input would be great. I have already taken the rubber pad out.

Don't cut--get new lowering springs....I have PROKIT...check out Hotchkiss or Strano..
