Default HELP Ticking Noise!!!!

I have this ticking noise and i dont know what it is!!! my mods are in my sig. this noise is not a exsaust leak! the first time i got rid of the noise i had a loose rocker, then 3 weeks later it did it agian i thought it got loose agian, nope every rocker was tight i took off the ffirst 3 and put lock tight on them and the ticking noise is still there!!!!!! this is all on the drivers side. please help!!! thanks!!

Did you check the belt and pulleys? One of my pulleys makes a funny ticking sound when the car is cold. But it goes away after it warms up. At first I thought it was one of the rockers, but it's not. I haven't looked too much into it yet. If if gets worse, I will...

Did you ever do a 3-2 misshift at the track? How long has it been doing it?

Might be a bent pushrod form the loose rocker.

well its not a bent push rod, its been doing it for awhile, but at 1 time i got rid of it, then it came back, also not a spun bearing, runs to good. thanks for the help

Under what conditions does the noise occur? Can you tell the area where it is coming from? It could be a number of things. Have you touched the oil pump at all? If so, It could be related the the pick up tube O-ring. I had that problem a couple months ago.

I realize you said you don't think its an exhaust leak, but do you still have your AIR system on your car? In particular your AIR tubes? You might have a burnt check valve. A lot of times when the check valve goes they make a ticking noise.
A new check valve and the AIR restrictor mod will take care of it.
