Today was a happy yet a sad day. Sad because I no longer have my Corsa on the car. Happy because I finally did the split exhaust mod on my 04. I am a little dissapointed in the sound of the Borla with my setup. I expected with Kooks/Catless MegaDeath Heads and Fast that it would still be loud. I miss the badass loudness of my Corsa. I might just have to cut out the mufflers and weld in strait pipes. I should have just built a custom system and saved myself some money. I guess I could always do cutouts down the road to regain that muscle sound.

All I know is, when I pass someone with my engine under load, they will never forget the sound as it is mean as hell and doesn't sound crappy like some with no mufflers. I have Kooks LT's and Borla.

That sounds so nasty man. Wait before doing anything...let the exhaust break in a little bit. I think it sounds very mean.

I run Lt's and a Borla on my TA, I love the sound, very distinctive.Your car sounds great, looks good to bro.

If you miss the sound of your Corsa, I'am almost positive that somewhere I read Corsa now sell mufflers individually. It'll be somewhat close to the sound.

They do I called and talked with them, they want 350 per muffler, yeah right!

Whoa! I didn't know they went for that much, Corsa make a good solid product, but they should lighten up on that price.

The Borla is already growing on me I still lean towards the Corsa but it is such a clean look on the GTO with Dual Exits.

are you using the 2006 bottom or was it cut to fit them? i was looking at a 2004 today and its in ok condition, needs a little body / paint work but not too bad, but once it fired up the **** was loud, i mean loud. look underneath and from im guess the cats back the whole exhaust is missing. The dealer said it had been stolen. Im thinking it was damaged or something. im gonna carfax it since im in the market for a car.
