Default slp strut tower brace

alright here is my question, i just ordered an slp stb, got it in the mail today and went to put in on, and torqued it down just like they insist, and still the damn cheap *** powder coating flaked off near each bolt, WTF, this aint cool, should i call them tommorrow bitch up a storm and insist they take it back and ship me a new one?

anyone else had this happen to them?

No need to call them and throw a fit over the phone......it's just paint on a strut tower brace.Unless you have a show car......do you?

I'll check mine when I get home, it's sitting in the garage.

I think its a BMR though, so it may not mean ****.

Maybe they'll send you some touch-up paint.

Was a washer used under the nut? I can see the powdercoat coming off if no washer is there to keep the pressure of torquing the nut down. I have BMR and use washers, haven't had the powdercoat come apart. But perhaps slp didn't do a good job of powdercoating.

STB are for look more than anything on our cars.... does very little, slightly noticeable... SFC would of given u a more noticeable difference sweetheart <3

yep and i torqed the outter bolts just like they said to do.

i;m deff not into glitts and glamour when it comes to my performance parts, i actually prefer the look of stock the most, and any discreet performance stuff is perfect for me,

also im just trying to restore my slp car back to its original form, the stb was the last thing the doofis removed before i bought the car
