Congrats to SW, new 6-spd record 8.49 @ 172.7 No, this isn't an LS1 powered car, but still an awesome time for a 3,600 lb car with a factory 6-spd manual and independent rear axle.

Not to take anything away from a 7 second car, because that is an accomplishment regardless... but when one of the lsx world people put 2 power adders on a race car we get **** about it, I just find it amusing that in the supra world that is perfectly normal.

Pretty impressive. That thing really squats on the launch and the shifts. I wonder if it would run a better time if it didn't do that so much? If you compare that to Joe Hunycutt's car their is a huge difference.
