Congrats to SW, new 6-spd record 8.49 @ 172.7
No, this isn't an LS1 powered car, but still an awesome time for a 3,600 lb car with a factory 6-spd manual and independent rear axle.

haha you mean BEFORE the 91mm... One of the SP cars uses a 250shot just to spool one of their retardly large frame turbos and shuts off at a certain boost level. Otherwise he said, the turbo doesnt fully spool till mid second gear (6 speed car)

Pretty impressive. That thing really squats on the launch and the shifts. I wonder if it would run a better time if it didn't do that so much? If you compare that to Joe Hunycutt's car their is a huge difference.
