Default Low RPMS

Hey guys I have a question I have a 2000 SS Camaro A4 and when i turn it on it sounds like it wants to shut off and it has really low rpms. the thing is this only happens once in a while. Any help would be appreciated

I wished the hell I had an answer. Back in September it happened to me. I left the store, turned it on, started moving and it felt like it was gonna die on me. Low RPM's, sluggish almost like I was out of fuel or fuel was getting to the engine. I waited a few minutes, started it back up and it did it again. I had to slam that gas and get moving. When I got home, turned off/ back on again and it hasnt done it since. I know thats not an answer, sorry, but at least you're not alone. BTW, I did replace my batter about a week after that. Probably just coincidence though.

Possibly the IAC (idle air control valve). Does it do this only on startup or also when you're idleing at stoplights?

It only does this when i start it up...then i put it in reverse and its still does that until i give it a few revs...any other ideas?? thanx

I think im going to buy a new battery and see if it does it again thanks guys
