Need reccomendation on T-Stat housing For awhile now I've been using those POS mr gasket chrome t-stat housings and have finally had it up to the gills. The first one I had warped under the pressure of the cooling system (which isn't much pressure) and I thought it was a fluke - so I bought another. Well lo and behold the second one did the same! Cheap pot-metal pieces of ****..
I was curious to know if anyone had any reccomendations on good 45deg thermostat housings for the early SBC that don't leak? I'm eyeing one from Billet Specialties that seems to be pretty good, and there is stainless steel version by another company that I know won't leak, but its a bit pricy.
