do i NEED to change my shock mounts out when i change my springs and shocks?

Question do i NEED to change my shock mounts out when i change my springs and shocks?

just bought new qa1's all the way around and was wondering should i get new shock mounts?

No, I have my original stock mounts with konis/stranos

im going to change the strut mounts whenever i get around to installing some new shocks/springs. its not necessary but they can wear out and start squeeking. i guess it just depends on how many miles you have, and whether or not you want to spend another $100

I assume you mean the upper front shock isolator assembly. I have had to replace a few generally on high mileage cars where corrosion becomes an issue. Otherwise you should be fine. If the car is a dd and you live in any kind of corrosive enviroment put some antisieze on the shock tenon where it goes into the isolator.
