Default lt1 mods

i just bought a 96 z-28 with 90k on it for 4 grand currently it is a all stock car with flowmaster exhaust question is???
what bolts-ons, chips, programers can i use for the most bang for the buck

just dont buy a chip like hypertech, or a bigger throttle body, or bigger mass airflow sensor. they are all just wastes of money

Since when is a bigger Throttle Body a waste of money?

x2 they say xx amount hp but not worth it unless you have supporting mods to need them.

Im just talking about for a bolt on car he wont see near the difference he will with headers or something. i may be wrong but i thought the stocker was good to about 400 horsepower...

Your right, it is...but I wouldnt call it a waste of money.....but rather than a mod not needed right away...

i have a full bolton cammed with lightly ported heads and picked up ohp with a 58mm throttle body.

and your rwhp numbers are? if you run a tb that flows more cfm than what your motor allows, why and how would you see a difference over than what your stocker was capable of?

X2. Start with a cai,catback, headers, tb bypass, maybe some nitto dr, suspension mods, if you cant put the power to the ground!!! Also, make sure the car is tuned up plugs, wires, etc. A stall or gears will also give you a great bang for the buck.

i got a magnoflow cat back from a buddy, i need to pump a water pump on it so while in the process should i do a stock cap and rotor or a msd or replace the whole opti assy?
