Default Plain red Z28....Torque Thrust IIs, chrome Z06s or chrome ZR1s??

My car is a plain ole' red '02 Z28. It will be dropped about an inch with some light tint. I'm pretty torn between chrome torque thrust 2s, chrome Z06s, or chrome ZR1s. I will stay with 17s. Their are not many fbodies in my area at all, so no wheel is 'played' out around here. For example I work in a huge building w/ 1500 people and their is only one other 4th gen fbody in the lot so I don't have to worry about being original/different.

If it matters, the car will likely never see rain. Its solely a weekend car, hence it won't ever get too 'dirty.' It will be garaged.

What do you guys think? And of course, yes price is always a factor.

At this point I'm leaning away from the chrome Z06 wheels because I don't think they look good in 17s.

I'm leaning TT2s, then ZR1s, then Z06s. Thoughts?

That looks nice and they look easy to maintain. Is that the stock ride hide?

No, its got the SLP suspension on it, over an inch drop. My driveway is slightly slanted so it looks like more of a gap up front than really is.

I agree ZO6 With 17s will look too small.

If you go Z06's get them in 18's. I had them in 18's and they looked great.I have seen some 17" Z06's and they look to small. I would take the ZR1's over the TT II's.

if u want 18's then its pretty tough to beat the look of c5 Z06. i gotta NBM Z28 and went with some chrome ZR1 for the simple reason that the camaro is a simple clean sleek car. so i went with somewhat simple looking rims that just compliments the car. so i say go ZR1!! it will look better lowered.

I will be taking the car to the track and I don't think it will hook very well on 18s. Plus the added weight of 18s and the expense of 18" tires too. I'm sure it would look better though.

Not as bad plus mustangs Dont rock z06 or Zr1's and every 67-80 old f-body has TT2's. At camaro fest last year there was 250 camaro's and 70% of them had tt2's LOL I just got tired of them last year. They are nice on T/A's. Im not saying Zr1 and z06 are not my 1st choice, but when all you have is 800-1200$ thats you best bet.

Im sorry but i have to disagree zr1s and z06s are everywhere ! I bet if you did a poll on here the majority of the cars would have zr1s or z06s then tt2s in a close 3rd for the f-bodys. And im not biased i used to own both the zr1s and the zo6s. But it is up to the driver really all 3 types of rims your looking at are nice it is depending on wht you like not what everyone else has!

At the shows i went too i only saw one car had z06 wheels and there was a few with zr1 wheel's and a ton of TT2's. I had 35th le wheels at the time. You only seen z06 wheel and Zr1 wheel on 4th gens. You see TT2's from 67-02. Its rare to see any other gen f-body with zr1's or z06.Thats what i was getting at. They all are played out but unless you got a tone of 4 to spend your going to have played out wheels. Its just a mater of what you like more.
