is there a difference between the ends on a set of sbc spark plug wires and lt1 wires on the distributer/optispark ends? (i already searched)

I'm not sure. Try going to your nearest parts store and ask to see both kinds.

reason im wondering is because i have a universal set of msd wires for an old ford or chevy and i dont know if they will work. i would just try them and find out but i dont want to cut the wires and put ends on them if they will not work, because i can sell them if they dont.
