So I went cruis'n today...Mulholland from Las Virgenes in Malibu Canyon...SWEET
I'd never been on this section of Mulholland before...I'd allways been on the section near the beach.
This part of Mulholland is SICK, it puts that road that we all cruised a few weeks back to shame...serious twisties, and a hell of a lot of fun; deep in the Santa Monica Mountains.
Right as I get to the beginning of the road there is a 4-way stop, and what should happen to turn onto the road in front of me?
This.... GT40! It's ON!!!!!
Few pics of my car before I left....
The road starts out at the wide bottom of the canyon, with some nice turns and switchbacks, mixed with a few straights...but then, it just gets sick.
Few pics of going up (these were taken well after, and I came back down)
Looking up the road, that peak in the back ground has a large rest/overlook area...
View from the top...I found a couple of guys up there...they watched me and the GT40 zoom by on our way up and out...I came back to chat...
Saleen 281 "Extreme"
Signed...
HUGE front breaks...those are 20"s up front...those brakes are like 17"!!!!
Dude said he hadn't touched the Saleen from what it came with...claims 600 hp?!!!?
All-in-all a GREAT drive. I'm going back next weekend to explore somemore...if anyone is interested let me know, this road WILL challenge you.
Great fun!!

Underneath the 281 badge you can barley make out the "Extreme" logo. It was quiet as all hell, even the SC was quiet...in comparison to some I've heard.
