Dry Kit
Advantages:
1. Easy install
2. Breaks less parts (usually)
3. More Economical
4. Computer auto tunes for the spray.
Disadvantages:
1. Low rear wheel horsepower (125 shot=85 rwhp)
2. Catostrophic engine damage if injector fails.
3. Same as above if the fuel pump fails.
Wet Kit:
Advantages:
1. Very aggressive power hit
2. TNT and NX rate thier kits at the rear wheels.
3. Basically kicks a similar modded car with a dry kits ***
every race.
4. Tuning the car is a must (timing tuner or ls1 edit)
Disadvantages:
1. Breaks clutches and rearends more readily
2. Catastrophic engine failure if fuel selinoid malfunctions.
Hope that helps. To be honest I would recommend the wet kit. I had a dry kit for my first system and grew bored of it very quickly. When I changed over to the TNT F1 system, and hit the juice for the first time, it literally scared the bejebus out of me. And it fried my clutch a few seconds later. But going fast is never cheap.
Hope this helps, good luck.

what do you think about a 2 stage nitrious kit with a low shot? wouldnt that be a little better in terms of not wearing parts out as fast?

Re: Newbie needs some NOS help
Its Nitrous, not NOS. N.O.S is a brand. With no disrespect intended. Instead of a two stage get a progressive controler, this will allow the N20 to be released slower so its easier for the drivetrain. This is good because you have a 6 speed. The rear ends are the weakest link and break often.
