Default mechanic book

whats the book say on how long it takes to install gears,bearings, and all.
I don't want to get ripped off when i find a shop that can do it. Thanks

IT IS NOT A GOOD IDEA TO RUSH THE INSTALL. Let your installer take his time to get it right or you will be doing it twice. Just my 2 cents.

Most shops will charge aflat rate on a differential rebuild. You should expect to pay somwhere between $260.00 to $360.00 depending on where you are in the US.

Alldata book time for a gear install is 4.7 hours bearings would be extra. This is what a flat rate shop would go off of.
