Default Procharger...

I was just curious if the perscetage of horse power increase is for real that they advertise on these. i want to say that they are advertising an 85% increase with the model I was looking at. The reason I ask is because that would be like 800 rwhp!!! Am I losing it??

Just like anything else... It depends on the combo... A good flowing big cube motor with some thought behind the head/cam combo is going to make A LOT more power with an F1R than a stock engine for instance, BUT as far as centri's go... Prochargers DO produce.

Mine P1SC at 10 psi of boost produced a gain of 200 rwhp. More was available but with a stock bottom end I went with a conservative tune and just 10 psi. That right there was a 66 percent increase. So there you have it.

With 8 psi of boost we normally see an increase of 140 rwhp (at the tires) on my Mustang dyno. Bob

My first dyno was 383 rwhp my second was 642 @ 8-9 #'s my most recent was 723 @ 10#'s. So I got nearly a 90% increase. It all depends on what you have and how you use it.
