its very do able... i have a BMR K member and I pulled the oil pan... i used a jack on the trany to keep the motor supported... take the Motor Mount bolts out... u dont even have to lower the whole K member off... just let the six bolts lose to a couple of threads, which will be ok because they are only supporting the K member... didnt have to unbolt the shocks from the a arms or anything ... just the 2 Motor Mount Bolts come out... and the 6 K member bolts get loosen

I asked this question about a month ago and several people said they had done it. On fellow with an aftermarket K-memeber said it was easier with the new K-member than the stock one.

John, with the PA nothing needs to be removed. Just the oil pan bolts. VERY easy to get to.

u have to lower the K member or the oil pan hits the bellhousing on an A4 tranny anyways...
