Default cruise control servo keeping throttle open

im working on a 99 camaro with many issues, one of them is the servo that controls the throttle and the cruise control on the passanger side fender by the battery will not allow the throotle to close all the way. I tried adjusting the cables and it doesent help. do you have to reclock or reset the servo somehow?

I learned something new today, there is a throttlebody from a 00-02 on a 99 f body right now and I noticed that the bracket that the cable loops around is almost 3/4 of an inch larger on the 00-02 throttle bodies then on the 98-99 ones. so swapping them out will do the trick.

If you don't have a scanner to look at the throttle position sensor and other sensors in real time, you can take this to any mechanic. The problem should be easy to find.

To hell with the dealer!
