UMI LCA and PH bar adj. question
Good morning all,
I have read on forum and even tried to search for the answer but with no luck. I have a question about the UMI LCA/PH bar adjustable poly/rod end bars. My question is are they adjustable while they are on the car and the suspension is loaded? I mean by that do you have to remove one end in order to make an adjustment which might be a little hard if the suspension is loaded. Other than that maybe you guys can tell me if they are relatively easy to install and how long does it take for a weekend mechanic without a lift to do it.
I am about to buy a set in order to fix my off center rear end problem.
Thanks in advance,
Simon

They are easy to install with a floor jack. You should also use a jackstand.
With two wrenches it might take an hour to do it all. Might take longer to get it all measured and adjusted if you are trying to recenter the axle.
If they have adjustment threads on one end then you have to take one end off to adjust them.
It may be hard getting the bolt back in if you adjusted it a lot, just take a rope, come-a-long, ratcheting tie down strap or whatever to pull the axle and align the bolt holes.
