You guys were right...
My trans am has been sold for 1.5 months and I have been down ever since. I think I'm almost depressed. Why did I ever sell it? The kicker is the suv I bought needs a motor. Talk about a kick in the nuts. I'll have suv back together within the month and guess what? A big for sale sign is going in the window. I am dead set on buying a trans am/camaro by mid summer. Going to find one with atleast 400 ponies. Just thought I'd post up. Nothing beats the thrill of a hopped up v8 rolling down the highway. Atleast not for me.

It's weird. I've owned 10 cars in the last 2 years and never missed any of them. All being 4 wheel drives. Which tells me maybe 4x4's aren't really my thing. I actually managed to keep the trans am 1.5 years which is a record for me in wheels.

you never sell your f-body. i sold my 95 z28. thought i wouldnt miss it, thought im done with this POS. about 1 month later i was missing my car. i then bought a 97 z28 and had fun but it still wasnt my 95. sold that car. camaro-less for about 14-16 months. i then couldnt find the right car and kept missing my other cars. i then came across my 2002 and this one will not go for sale
we all probably told you not to sell it. but you did. we all make stupid mistakes. goodluck on your next car

I know a guy that is selling his camaro. He went from a mustang to 3 LS1's. He had a pewter A4, then a Black T/A M6, then a White SS M6. He is selling the white ss and already bought a bike. He said he's done with F-bodies. I beg to differ, especially when all his friends have them. I give him 6 months at the max.

I have a confession guys...I was SO close to selling my SS to a guy that has been bugging me about it for awhile. And the reason....to buy a Mustang (an 03 Mach1, but still)! Luckily I though about it, slept over it, and came to the conclusion that I was going to miss my girl way to much and I knew that I would regret it. After reading this thread I feel even better about my decision.

i would try to find a car as close to stock as possible.
400rwhp is not a hard mark to hit.
guys that mod their cars have usually beat on them a bit
but get exactly what you want, it makes payment time a lot easier

lol. told you! but hey, I was the same way. lesson learned. took something new & different to miss what you really loved. anyways. you should be able to find one with at least 400hp easily. you could even consider a stock one, and buy a cam swap around $800 and some cam only LS1's run 11's and many have been over 380 rwhp. but then again you'll want to get intake, exhaust, etc and the money from 'stock' to 'modded' adds up faster.
