where to get a window motor?

dealer, auto parts store, ebay, scrap yard, classified section on LS1 tech. i've listed them in what i beleive to be declining levels of cost.

If you want a new motor, get it from Autozone. Those are typically better than the stock GM motors (the ones sold at AZ are produced by Siemens or Doorman).

I got one from a site on ebay - about $25. For $28 I think there was one with a lifetime warranty, but at that price if it goes bad after a few years I'll just buy another one

Agreed, plus you get a lifetime warranty, if goes bad again just take it in and swap it out.
